Groove or slot milling

nbsp;Groove or slot milling is an operation in which side and face milling is often preferred to end milling.Slots or grooves can be short or long, closed or open, straight or non-straight, deep or shallow, wide or narrowTool selection is normally determined by the width and depth of the groove and

the ball mill is less energy efficient than a crusher and has to input more energy to do the same amount of size reduction). Hence from equation 7, to crush to the ball mill circuit feed size (x. 2) in open circuit requires specific energy equivalent to: f x f x 2. 1 W c ic. 1.19* 4 2 M x x. 1 (10) For closed circuit crushing the specific

to the volumetric mill filling which influences grinding media wear rates, throughput, power draw, and product grind size from the circuit. Each of these performance parameters peaks at different filling values. In order to contin-uously optimize mill operation, it is vital to obtain regular measurements of the ball load and pulp position.

Calculating the correct size Circuit Breaker to attach your wiring to is easy if you follow our guidelines shown in the chart below. Circuit Breakers are rated by Amps. The Amperage needed when the machine is idling will roughly correspond to the horsePower of the main motor on the machine.

Title: Choosing a SAG Mill to Achieve Design Performance Author: John Starkey Created Date: 12/27/2004 1:24:53 PM Keywords: Identify the correct power required to grind ore in a SAG mill, by developing ore hardness variability functions for the ore body to be mined.

Size the branch-circuit conductors and overcurrent protection device for commercial dryers to the appliance nameplate rating. Calculate the feeder demand load for dryers at of the appliance rating. If the dryers run continuously, you must size the conductor and protection device at 125% of the load [210.19(A), 215.3, and 230.42].

The circuit consists of a 60 x 113 primary crusher, two 16 MW SAG mills and two 16 MW ball mills. All RQD values of 55% resulted in SAG mill feed size (F80) of over 70 mm and a SAG mill throughput of 5200 t/h. The Batu Hijau SAG mill specific energy was a function of point load test and RQD. The point load test substitutes for Axb

MC Pump range for Mill Circuit applications

for mill circuit applications Warman MC pumps easily manage large size particles in dense abrasive slurries and are specifically designed for the most severe slurry applications such as ball and SAG mill cyclone feed plus water-flush crushing in mineral processing plants. They are also suitable for use as slurry transfer pumps on arduous

Lets understand something about your existing 15 amp circuit. In a basic house wiring configuration your 15 amp circuit is a Shared Circuit, which means that it feeds more than on outlet. The 15 amp circuit breaker protects the circuit in the event of too many electrical devices being plugged into these outlets.

proposed flowsheet consists of existing SAG mill circuit followed by a new proposed ball mill in closed circuit with the existing hydrocyclone package. In all simulations, SAGT, CYCL and MILL models were selected to simulate SAG mill, Hydrocyclone packages and particle size of grinding circuit product under the same current capacity

particle size as the target grind size for the ball mill circuit; for ex-ample, it is convenient to select the desired 80% passing size as the target grind size. You can then use this target grind size to define and distinguish between coarse and fine particles in any of the

• primary mill feed 80% passing size (F80), • final grinding circuit product 80% passing size (P80), • ore hardness measurements, • grinding circuit feed rate at the time of survey, and • size reduction equipment power consumption at the time of survey. 5. SCOPE The intended application of this analysis is to treat a complete grinding

The range of mill sizes and versatile applications allow SAG milling to be accomplished with fewer lines than conventional set-ups. This, in turn, contributes to lower capital and maintenance costs for a SAG mill circuit. Versatile applications . SAG milling extends itself to many applications due to the range of mill sizes available.

to know a pump's physical size to try out on a plant layout drawing. An easy way to determine the straight-run head-loss — the most difficult part of a headloss calculation — is to use a nomogram such as Figure 3 or a table. Pipe manu-facturers (and others) produce tables and nomograms that

Cable short circuit capacity should be higher than system short circuit capacity at that point. Selection of cable – Case #1. Let's select 3.5 core 70 Sq.mm cable for single run. Current capacity of 70 Sq.mm cable is: 170 Amp, Resistance = 0.57 Ω/Km and Reactance = 0.077 mho/Km; Total derating current of 70 Sq.mm cable = 170 0.93 = 159 Amp.

Jul 05, 2011Hi, i'm a little confused about the way to calculate the amp of the circuit breaker for a three-phase system. If i have a power of 11.5 kW and voltage of 400V, what size circuit breaker is needed for three-phase system. My calculation was 11500/(1.732x400) = 16.6 Amps per phase 16.6 x 3 = 49.8 Amps, so i need a 50 Amp breaker.
