WHAT DOES MY ENTRY TICKET PAY FOR?

WCHOCFEST – activities, tickets and costs

The cost of an entry ticket is R120. You will receive a free wine glass, a festival bag and a choccie, plus 2 magazines.

You get to watch our fashion and jewellery shows at 11.30 and 3.30 daily.

You get to see a chocolate emporium with 30 chocolatiers all offering their latest and best goodies – most of whom
will offer chocolate freebies.

And there will be live music from 1- 5 on Saturday (Mischa)
and from 1 – 4pm on Sunday (Newton and Maria),
a Victorian Kitchen and a cacao plantation exhibit,a photographic exhibition, a jewellery and chocolate curation
and lots to eat and drink. The movie Chocolat will be showing all day at the MCC Courtyard and the children can watch Charlie and the chocolate factory in the Manor House.

There is an MCC courtyard with top MCC stands (and oysters) and here you will find the Lindt Pop-Up shop where a Lindt chef
will show you how to make Lindor balls and let you taste them too!

There is also a Decorative Cake competition and you can see all the amazing creativity and skill on display in the Chocolate Emporium.

Watch the press for details of our kiddies activities – including 3 jumping castles (for different ages), a slide and dive-through trough,
a tunnel, a trampoline, an inflatable ‘hop animal’ and more. There is a special area for children with seating for mums and dads nearby.
PS Entry for children under 6 – Free!
Entry tickets for scholars –  R60

The cost of the LINDT Chocolate Tea is R250. (If you get a ticket to the Lindt Chocolate Tea, then it is not necessary to also get another entry ticket at R120)

The Lindt Chocolat Tea events take place at 11am and again at 3pm (both days).

The R250 cost pays for your generous helping of haute patisserie (made by the Lindt chefs!!!) plus a welcome glass of bubbly and tea or coffee.

The Lindt Chocolate Tea takes place in an exclusive, enclosed area overlooking our ‘Patisserie Garden’.

For the first half hour of the Lindt Chocolate Tea, LINDT chef, Dimo Simatos will entertain you with interesting chocolate ideas  – and then the fashion show starts and you will be able to watch the models and their beautiful garments as they walk past your tables!  The fashion shows are about ½ hour long.

After this you can walk around the festival areas, see the Victorian kitchen, the many exhibitors, the cake competition entries etc,
watch a movie, listen to live music and just enjoy the fest.

PS The Lindt chocolate Tea doubles as an entry ticket. Neither the entry ticket nor the Lindt Chocolate Tea ticket offers free entry

to those activities where an extra cost is applied.
